Have been away from the blog for a little while, but have been down to the River Cottage HQ to do the Smoking and Curing course with Ray Smith. It was an absolutely fantastic day and Ray and the team were inspirational. Gonna add Ray and Hugh to the portrait list. In the mean time, here's some images from the day!

Submission request from Illustration Now 3!!!!

Had some really exciting news this week! I have been asked to submit work for the next Illustration Now book from Taschen.

I'm really pleased as having my work appear in an anthology of contemporary illustration has been an ambition for me from the start. I think it is due in part, to all the hours I spent pouring over these kinds of things, dreaming of being an illustrator.

I suppose it is recognition and validation. Mind you, 10 years on, it's been a while coming!!! lol. Anyways, here is the cover to Illustration Now 2. Wonder what the new one will be like?

Here she is! Started last night whilst watching the woman herself on the Friday Night Project. I really like her new song, but am sure it will get overkill on the radio and this time next week I'll hate it!
